How to find the Ring Bear in The Sims 4 Lovestruck
The Ring Bear can appear anywhere around Ciudad Enamorada, but this NPC is most commonly found by the fountain in the Plaza Mariposa Neighborhood. This location is easy to find if you start at the Media Naranja park lot.
When the Ring Bear is in the area, they’re usually sobbing near the fountain or napping on it. The bright blue costume this Sim wears makes them generally fairly easy to spot from afar.
Once you find the Ring Bear, interact with them and choose the ask about Sadness option. This character will tell you they’re sad about their missing ring which means you need to find it.
How to find the Ring Bear’s ring in The Sims 4 Lovestruck
You can get the Ring Bear’s ring by fishing it out of the heart-shaped pond in the Plaza Mariposa Neighborhood. It’s not too far away from the fountain where the Ring Bear hangs out, so just head back to the main Media Naranja park lot and make your way east from it to find this location.
Once you’re at the pond, interact with the fishing sign to start hunting for the ring. You need at least a few levels in this skill to catch it, so consider using the best Lovestruck cheats or best Lovestruck mods if you want to raise the skill right away.
Once you catch the ring, open your inventory and select the examine ring option to learn about it. The ring has some strange markings you can’t make out, so find the Ring Bear again to ask them about it. The Ring Bear can’t make out what the message says either, but they can decipher the word fountain on it, so you need to find a fountain to learn more.
How to find the fountain for the Ring Bear in The Sims 4 Lovestruck
The fountain you need to investigate for the ring is the same one you’re likely already right by with the Ring Bear—the fountain in the center of the Plaza Mariposa Neighborhood. If you’re not already at this location, make your way there so you can try to decipher what the ring says.
Once you’re by the fountain, interact with it and select the search fountain for clues option. The fountain has some markings that match up with the ring, so head back to the Ring Bear again to let them know what you found.
Once again, the Ring Bear can’t fully decipher what the message says, but they can make out the word wall. The next step is to find the wall the ring and fountain are referring to.
How to find the wall for the Ring Bear in The Sims 4 Lovestruck
The wall you need to investigate for the Ring Bear is a special mural featuring a couple dancing found in the Vista Hermosa Neighborhood right across the street from the Laguna del Abrazo lounge.
Approach this mural and interact with it so you can select the look for clues on the wall option. Investigating the mural reveals that the Ring Bear’s ring can be activated to unlock special powers.

To unlock the special powers of the Ring Bear’s ring, open your inventory and select the rub ring option. Rubbing the ring grants your Sims a special green aura that unlocks the Ring Rizz Moodlet for four hours.
While this Moodlet is active, your Sim has a buff to the Confident emotion which makes romancing other Sims through Cupid’s Corner, blind dates, and custom dates a lot easier. Finishing the Ring Bear’s quest also unlocks this special ring as one of the wearable items in Create a Sim.
If you’re not interested in the buff this ring supplies, you can also sell it for $5,000 Simoleons. And even though the Ring Bear originally wanted this item back, there’s no way to give it to them. It’s yours to keep or sell.
Although the Ring Bear quest officially concludes after looking at the mural, you can talk with the Ring Bear some more about why they have a bear costume on to help them process their grieving and unmask. You can meet the Sim underneath the costume if you talk with them enough, so keep at it to see who the Ring Bear truly is.
