Are you sick and tired of the agent or skin you just bought in VALORANT? Then why not get a refund?

When you load up VALORANT for the first time, you’re presented with five free characters. After a few wins, you can unlock two more. But if you want to complete the set and try all 21 agents out for size, you’ll have a long wait ahead of you. The next agent on the list requires 30,000 XP or about 100 wins.

If you recruited Viper but aren’t a fan of her slow and methodical playstyle, or you’d rather play a fast-paced agent like Raze, there’s a simple solution. You could sit, wait, and grind for hours on end—or you could get a refund.

Riot Games has added a quick and easy refund system to VALORANT similar to League of Legends.

Refunds for purchasable VALORANT content are allowed for unused content purchased with VP or RP within the last seven days. This includes agents and skins.

How to refund agents and skins in VALORANT

If you want a refund on your agent or skin, head over to VALORANT’s support page, scroll down, log in with your Riot username and password, and select “Get my order history.”

This will give you a list of all of your purchases, including the item name, purchase date, and amount of VP you spent. To get a refund, simply “refund” under the item you want to be refunded.

To sum up the refund process:

  • Head to VALORANT’s refund support page
  • Scroll down and log in with your Riot username and password
  • Select “Get my order history”
  • Find the item you want to be refunded and click “refund” under the “Claim a Refund” column
  • Restart VALORANT

Refunds only apply to agents and unused weapons skins. If you bought a skin and gave it a spin in Deathmatch, you sadly won’t be able to get a refund. You’re also only eligible for a refund if you bought the agent or skin within the last 14 days.

You can’t get a refund on the following:

  • Used Weapon Skins
  • Upgraded Weapon Skins
  • Used In-game content (Gun Buddies, Player Cards, etc.)
  • Character contract Levels
  • Weapon skin levels
  • Weapon Skin bundles
  • Premium battle passes
  • Premium battle pass levels
  • Radianite points
