As you continue your adventure in Khaz Algar, you’ll eventually reach Azj-Kahet. This is the highest-level zone, and once you finish the campaign story here, you’ll unlock the Scarab Scouting chain quest. Make your way down to the Rak-Ush farm and talk to the NPC Kish’nal inside her house, at coordinates 75.99, 82.38. She gives you the following quests that you need to do in order:

  • It’s Rough to Be a Bug!
  • Beautification Project
  • Expert Consultant
  • Bright Young Niffen
  • Rak-Ush Under New Management
  • Beetle in a Haystack
  • Bug Test

Although this seems like a long questline, the quests are all very straightforward and easy to complete. Since you’re helping organize the Rak-Ush farm, the quests mostly require you to clean the house, collect some materials, fight bug-like monsters, and talk to other NPCs in the area.

Once you’ve completed those seven quests, talk to Kish’nal once more. This time, she’s located in front of her house, at coordinates 75.0, 80.7, and she gives you the Scarab Scouting quest. This quest requires you to recruit the little swarmbeast bug from the farm and collect five Kaheti Truffles from piles of dirt.

After you’ve collected them all, simply turn in the quest. Afterward, you get the last part of this quest chain—Permanent Hire. All you need to do is talk to the NPC Saffrin close by, and you’ll finally unlock the Rak-Ush Swarmery achievement.
