Unique items like Earthbreaker in Diablo 4 are not offered as a guaranteed drop but come solely from RNG. However, there is a way to spin the odds slightly in your favor when hunting for the item.

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, has an increased chance of dropping Earthbreaker when defeated, as shown in the loot tables. While it still doesn’t guarantee the item you’re hunting for, it’s better odds than the base rates.

Earthbreaker is not exclusive to Grigoire, however, and can also drop in World Tier 3 and above from Gathering Legions, World Bosses, Helltides, or Nightmare Dungeons. The chances of the specific drop are much lower than Grigoire, though.

The best way to farm for Earthbreaker in Diablo 4 is to focus on Helltide events. Gather 300 Aberrant Cinders and use them to open Tortured Gifts of Living Steel, providing the material you need to summon Grigoire. Once collected, beat the boss and repeat the process until Earthbreaker drops.
