FC Points, previously known as FIFA Points before the marketing change, are a controversial mechanic in EA FC 25. We’ve got everything you need to know about FC Points here, including their price and if they’re worth it.

How to earn FC Points in EA FC 25

Aside from any pre-order bonus you received with EA FC 25, purchasing them is the only way to get FC Points. FC Points are a hard currency in EA FC 25 and cannot be earned in-game. Instead, they cost real money to get.

FC Points are not available globally, and some nations like the Netherlands and Belgium do not allow the purchase of FC Points. However, most nations do not have restrictions aside from having the odds available for any pack you want to open.

You can only purchase FC Points in bundles, with the lowest amount being 100 FC Points and the highest 18,500 FC Points. The price is lowered slightly with an active EA Play membership, while the exchange rate of points-per-dollar is larger in the more expensive bundles.

You can see all the available bundles and their price in the table below

100$0.99$0.89
500$4.99$4.49
1,050$9.99$8.99
1,600$14.99$13.49
2,800$24.99$22.49
5,900$49.99$44.99
12,000$99.99$89.99
18.500$149.99$134.99

Are FC Points worth it in EA FC 25?

No, purchasing FC Points in EA FC 25 is not worthwhile and is a quick way to burn through cash by wasting money. This is because you’re still not guaranteed to get the players you want, even if you spend hundreds of dollars.

The option to purchase FC points on Packs, which are in-game loot boxes, remains extremely controversial. EA Sports has been a huge target for criticism, with a similar approach used in other titles like Madden 25.

Although it might be tempting to splash the cash in pursuit of packing a game-changer for your squad, I highly recommend you don’t purchase any FC Points—especially as there are plenty of ways to earn free packs. Spend your hard-earned cash on something else instead.
