This is one of many birthday quests you need to tackle to celebrate, and while the act of eating cake is fairly simple, finding cake can be a bit tricky. If you’re struggling to finish this task, here’s how to eat slices of birthday cake in Fortnite.

To complete the eat slices of birthday cake quest in Fortnite, you need to consume a total of seven pieces of cake by tracking down the festive birthday cakes scattered around the island. Once you find one, you’ll also find several pieces of cake nearby, any of which can be consumed to complete this quest.

You can only eat cake if your health or shields aren’t full since each slice restores some health or shields, so consuming a total of seven slices might take you a few matches. I managed to get it done in two, but if you arrive at a cake with mostly full health and shields, it may take you a bit longer.

At most locations you visit to find cake, you’ll find a massive birthday cake, a few pieces on plates in a circle around it, and some additional slices placed randomly throughout the area. If you don’t see any near the cake because other players have already consumed them, venture around the area a bit since there may be more nearby. When I visited The Raft for this quest, all the slices that were by the cake had already been consumed, but I found some more in the cafeteria room when I went inside.
