Game studios often release games in early access to test everything and get feedback from players before the full release, and Spiders is doing the same with Greedfall 2: The Dying World. You can play the early access exclusively on PC starting this month.

You can play the Greedfall 2: The Dying World early access by purchasing the game for $39.99 on PC through Steam starting Sept. 24. those who buy the early access will get the full game once it releases, but there are no estimates on how long the game will remain in early access, nor any confirmed full release date.
The price is lower than the future full-release game, according to the studio, and those who buy the early access will receive extra content once the game is done. Although early access is only available on PC, Greedfall 2: The Dying World will launch on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as well.
The story will take place in the Old Continent three years before the first game, and you’ll play as a native Teer Fradeean taken against their will. You’ll have to survive and fight for your freedom in an unknown and dangerous land divided into factions.
Games can stay in early access for years so devs can get enough feedback from players to improve the gameplay and fix any bugs that surface as players progress through the game. As such, it’s difficult to estimate when exactly Greedfall 2 will launch in full.
