This first step is vitally important, as it sets the tone for the type of store you plan to have and is the start of your legacy. Some folks have a way through, though, and want to change that name to something better or have a change of heart.

They load up their phones, settings, and other options to find a way—only to be met with disappointment.

There is currently no way to change your store’s name in TCG Card Shop Simulator, and the game’s developers have not listed the option as something coming in the future as part of the game’s official roadmap.

There is no information on whether the option to change the name is being considered or might be added in a future update. The game is still in early access and is getting near-daily updates that fix massive bugs or make community changes, so if many in the community voice that they want the feature on the Steam forums or the game’s official Discord, maybe it’ll get added in a future patch.

For now, though, choosing your name is much more important when starting your sessions. It takes days, even weeks, of gameplay to build up your store slowly and level up to get new items, and if you don’t like the name of your store—even if it’s a cosmetic change—it can be a bit of a letdown. The only way you can get a new store name is to restart the game entirely and begin anew.

If you do want to start from scratch to get a new name and want to skip a lot of early things, there are ways to get infinite money using in-game edits on specific saves so you can get yourself back to where you were in your original save file, as an example.

For now, any changes to your store name are not currently possible. Hopefully, the developers will change this soon; if they do, we will update this article with the method.
