When Greedfall 2 launches in early access on Sept. 24, it will include the start of the main quest, where you begin the main story, and three full regions to explore, including the Teer Fradee, Thynia, and Uxantis regions. Additionally, you’ll have six companions to accompany you on your journey and help you in combat, as well as six combat skill trees to personalize your gameplay experience.

Post-launch content will be released throughout the coming months, with the first batch set to arrive in the fall. While a specific release date has yet to be announced, it will include a new companion with new companion quests, an extension to the main story, a brand-new region, and the opening of a new player hub. The game will also receive two new skill trees.

The next content release, set for the winter, will include another new companion and their quests, the addition of the crafting system, new local quests for the Teer Fradee and Uxantis regions, and one new skill tree alongside new abilities.

The last batch of content releases will come at an unspecified time after that point, including another extension of the main story, a new region and new local quests, and all-new faction quests. It will also bring even more new skill trees and abilities, the introduction of the photo mode, an extension of the max level, and more. According to the developer, these features will be released throughout 2025, along with continuous balancing updates supported by community feedback.
